Haze Alert: Penang

It looks like we're next. After hearing about KL city folks suffering from last week's haze, it seems that the strong winds from last night's rain shower has brought the smoke to the island. I assume that the Penang International Airport would be closed within the next 12 hours so we're currently preparing for the worst since 1999. From my last check, visibility levels in Penang have dropped to less than 500 metres.
