Maintenance, again.

ntsocialism is undergoing a little maintenance job. You might experience sudden downtime as I re-upload links and finish off my drafts.

Special thanks go out to ourblogtemplates.com for offering such a fine array of 3-column templates for public use. Sure does help when you're a little rusty in web authoring.

A short 'self-study' leave.

The weather hasn't been kind to most Penangites of late; scorching sunny weather all over with sporadic rain showers felt late at night.

Warded off late night coffee sessions with my brother, this has left me with no option but to stay at home often and focus more on my day job rather than my income-less hobbies. As you may have noticed, I haven't been busy updating this blog. But that doesn't necessarily mean that I am closing shop anytime soon. There's a fist-load of action to commence this May and I wouldn't want my readers to be left out.

So while I draft out entries on what's one to expect this coming May, allow me to disappear once again with a few specially ripped Scandinavian tracks contributed from my brother Zack (on the navigation bar to your right).

I shall be away reading a lot of self-management books in the coming weeks but please be patient while I prepare my imminent return to bloggerland!

Clean-up matters.

Blog is being refurbished. Expect links to be broken or down, images failing to load and hearing very little from me for the next few days. Please stay tuned...

Das Filewire server kaput?

Download too slow or not initiating?

Received feedback from Mervin from the Phillipines that filewire downloads were down on this blog. I've tested it - seem that the links may take up to 30 seconds to initiate. Please be patient as server lag issues are being sorted out. Thanks.

Subtle changes?

Music: Calla - Swagger (cheers Timothy!) (click to download)

I'll be shifting all downloads to filewire. I hope the speed and availability there is much more pronounced and easily accessible. Otherwise, draw your complaints to the usual address and I'll finally succumb to having to run my own friggin' commercial hotspot (i.e: a dot com).

Tonight's the big match between Italy and France. Wonder if my dear friend Timothy's decided to root for the French now that the Czech's been eliminated.

The owner of this blog will be away this weekend.

Music: Common - The Corner (Feat The Last Poets and Kanye West) (click to download)

I shall be travelling down to Kuala Lumpur this weekend. No confirmed plans of what we'd be doing over there once we arrive though.

Show me some love. Leave me a message by e-mail and I will respond upon my return.

Audioblog: Giving this a trial run!

Music: (click to download these tracks)
i) Coldplay - Speed of Sound (C64 Mix) (Ok, so it's a little repetitive but it's still good! Thanks to DJMonsterMo)
ii) Coldplay vs Team 9 - Square One (Team9's Smalltown Mix)

Audioblogger's up and running now. I'm pretty sure that it'll cost a little as the service number is based in the United States. I hope that they'll set up a local line over here in Malaysia in due time. Meanwhile, keep checking as I'll probably post in some stuff via Audioblogger starting from July 2005.

Fixing some glitches.

Since this blog of mine is relatively new, there are bound to be speedbumps here and there. I've noticed that loading time this page is relatively slow at times especially the images so I've decided to test drive other image hosting servers which I hope will solve this problem permanently.

So far, Fotolog.net has been crappy for me. One upload per day? Ughh..

I've considered direct linking from Imageshack too but there's no way that I could manage the files on Imageshack once it's transferred.

Any other good options that doesn't require me to spend a single penny? I'd say:

- 25MB is good enough.
- able to at least withstand approximately 30-50 loading times per day; 200 mb bandwidth?
- No limits of upload size. I fancy putting hi-quality images up every now and then.

Wait. That's sounds like Hello! But again, I need the ability to edit, move and delete my files!

One solution would be to host all my personal pictures on Photobucket and the ones that I don't own in Imageshack's servers. Sounds good doesn't it?

Warghh...still wish everything could be hosted in one place! Do I really have to use my Paypal account?
