Mosaic Music Festival 2008.

Music: Broken Social Scene - Anthems For A Seventeen Year-Old Girl (click to download)

Here we go again. Another year, another big act performs in the art-thriving land of Singapore. Broken Social Scene are slated to perform at the Esplanade on the 9th of March 2008 (Sunday) in corroboration with the annual 'Mosaic Music Festival'. Tickets are priced from SGD $58, SGD $88 and SGD $118.

The 'Mosaic Music Festival' will take place from the 7th to the 16th of March, boasting sheer quality in numbers as renowned artists ranging from Ferns (from Malaysia!), Fujiya & Miyagi, Harry Connick, Jr., Lee Ritenour, múm, Sondre Lerche and the bird and the bee will all take their bows in front of an almost certain packed house.

Malaysians, like myself, sadly, will once again painstakingly save up their monthly allowance and make that half-yearly visit down south. There is a sensation that buzzes through one's nerves knowing that almost every sane artist out there is skipping Malaysia for one obvious reason. It is sensitive and almost forbidden for me to elaborate because I have nothing but contempt for people who fail who bring these acts into our country.
