Cold War Kids - Hospital Beds

I'm starting to dig 'Hospital Beds' by Cold War Kids. Based in California, these guys sound refreshingly different from what I'd expect from a rising indie band. Strengthened by the fact that their lead singer, Nathan Willet has a soulful voice helps in their cause (think Jeff Buckley and Lou Reed in some spaces).

Here's my interpretation of the lyrics to 'Hospital Beds'. I may have made mistakes in certain verses. Please feel free to correct my error(s) by sending me an e-mail. Don't forget to remove the NOSPAM comment there.

there's nothing to do here
some just whine and complain
in bed at the hospital
coming and going
asleep and awake
in bed at the hospital

tell me the story
of how you ended up here
i've heard it all in the hospital
nurses are fussin'
doctors on tour
somewhere in india

i got one friend
laid across from me
i did not choose him
he did not choose me
we've got no chance of recovery
general hospital
joy and misery
joy and misery
the joy and misery

put out the fire boys
dont stop, dont stop
put out the fire on us
put out the fire boys
dont stop, dont stop
put out the fire on us
bring your buckets by the dozens
bring your nieces and your cousins
come on put out the fire on us

vietnam
fishing trips
Italian opera

i got one friend
laying across from me
i did not choose him
he did not choose me
we've got no chance of recovery
