Gig alert: Republic Of Brickfields > PEN.

Music: Liam Lynch - United States of Whatever (click to download)

A special gig will be held in Church Street Cafe, Lebuh Pantai, Penang on the 27th of May 2007. This all part of Republic of Brickfields' 'Ganjaran Nationwide Tour 2007'. After making touring stops over in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru, the island of Penang will be visited by these instrumentally-armed gentlemen with a nominal fee. The 'Ganjaran Nationwide Tour 2007' with appearances from Damn Dirty Apes, The Aggrobeats, Gangbusters, Blind Tribe and The A.C.A.B, promises to deliver anthems of sonic debauchery and funky-haired apemen in an intimate setting. Ok, so I'm lying - it's just a few sound tech guys that'll be dressed up in costumes.

The show starts at 1500 hrs. Entrance will cost you a measly MYR 20.00 but it'll be worth every penny spent.

"When DDA and The A.C.A.B. get together, they form a potently explosive event to remember. Of course, I'm just benchmarking based on the output from their debut LPs."

Why oh why do I not doubt that quote. I'm crossing my fingers that both Megat (of A.C.A.B.) and Pedram (of DDA) will perform some old favourites in their respective setlists.
